CEPS Open Art Research
Contribute to the research record. Anyone can submit historical information, sources, corrections or research leads. CEPS records the contribution, an AI research assistant can screen the submission, and human review remains responsible for accepting research into the institutional record.
Research contribution ≠ CEPS authentication. A contribution never automatically establishes authenticity, ownership, provenance or certification.
Contribute Research →Historical Knowledge Records are informational research records. Independent CEPS authentication and provenance verification remain separate processes.
CEPS Native Records identify artworks already present in the CEPS Artist/Artwork Registry. They remain separately marked from externally sourced Historical Knowledge.
Community Research Record
The Community Research Record preserves research contributions accepted by CEPS as part of the public research history. Each record identifies its contributor, subject, research claim and available source references.
Important: Acceptance into the Community Research Record means that the contribution has been accepted as research history. It does not establish artwork authenticity, ownership, provenance, CEPS verification or certification.
